In fact, this building is two museums. The Museum of Ancient Art created by Napoleon and especially for the great works of Flanders. Another is the Museum of Modern Art and the sights of Brussels. It was added in 1984 and consists of eight floors, many of which are underground. In them, works of more than 600 years of fine arts including paintings, sculptures, and art designs have been presented.

Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm (Ticket sales are closed from 4:40 pm).

Holidays: Mondays and January 1, second Thursday from January, May 1, November 1, Nov. 11, Dec. 25.

Entrance fee: (ticket to visit both museums): Adults 13 Euro; Children 3 Euros (Free for less than 6 years)
